Sally Hodgkinson, our friend and consumer advocate, has passed away after a long battle with breast cancer. Sally’s contributions to the program were invaluable as she tirelessly focused on the work ahead with characteristic down-to-earth demeanour. Her experience and personal perspective embodied the reality behind breast cancer statistics and were a continual, stark reminder to us that research breakthroughs cannot come soon enough. Sally was inspirational and will be much missed, but her commitment and passion will continue to spur us on in the fight against breast cancer.
